BeepBeepRobotStoryTime Presents: "A Christmas Heart"

This is it!
THIS IS HAPPENING!

"A Christmas Heart", a BeepBeepRobotStoryTime production, is going live, and is ready for your listening pleasure!!

A brief description (available at the link of the podcast):

Every family has its secrets. Sisters Selena and Caroline have plenty between them, and the day after Christmas, it will all come to light in front of their family; a chilling tale that will prove that no crime goes unpunished, and not everything that is buried will stay that way...

And please, don't let the Christmas in the title fool you. This supernatural thriller is much more appropriate around the Halloween time of year.

For your convenience, here is the embedded link:

I've been arguing with my internet/computer for too long tonight, but there will also be a youtube version available coming soon, if that's how you prefer to enjoy it.

You can also go to the link right here to download it and listen to it on your preferred portable music provider of choice!

This is a full and complete short story, so it is nearly half an hour in length - but please give it a chance, this is full of my blood, sweat, and tears*!

*This is not a guarantee. Product may not be returned if not filled with adequate blood, sweat, or tears.

That is all for now - but don't worry, I already have the next project in the works. These are a lot of work, but it's the type of work it turns out I really enjoy, so I'm definitely not stopping here. Thanks for stopping by, and as always, thanks for listening.

Second Project - "A Christmas Heart"

The new project is underway! The draft is more or less final, recording has officially started, and I'm taking all sorts of pictures for it. Look!

Oh hey! I can add alt text!
BeepBeepRobotStoryTime Presents: "A Christmas Heart"
A chilling tale that proves no crime goes unpunished...

This second project will likely be much longer than the first, and it will be a full short story. It will be a horror story, with some suspense, and hopefully some edge-of-your-seat qualities. No estimated date for its release yet, but hopefully soon, if my work and class schedules will allow!

In other news, I have approximately three other projects in queue after this one is completed; because of reasons, updates will be slow. Those reasons are that I'm doing all this between a full time job and part time school, as mentioned. But! I have some new equipment that might be able to help me write more efficiently, so that there is somewhat less of a delay between releases.

In other other news, my current recording equipment is super super crappy, so I will be looking into replacing it soon - I'm sure more than a few of you noticed the rather low quality recording of "Another Travelin' Song," and I had hoped to replace my mike before the second project, but then I had to buy school books. So please bear with me, and hopefully my melodious voice will distract you the lack of good equipment.

In other other other news - did you know there's a BeepBeepRobotStoryTime tumblr? There will be some updates there as well, if you're interested in following it!

In otherx4 news, I'm considering starting a Facebook page for BeepBeepRobotStoryTime. Thoughts, anyone?

That should be it for now! Stay tuned for more updates, and as always, thanks for listening!

Another Travelin' Song

Drumroll please...

Beep Beep Robot Story Time has launched with its first official podcast!

We have a few options for you: you can just click on the button below! (It's less than 6 minutes long. Real easy I swear.)

I have also created a youtube 'video' for it (I say 'video' because by 'video' I mean 'accompanied by a few pictures I took around Spokane for atmosphere'), available when you click right here!

I am in process of getting myself onto iTunes as well.

The first official Story Time is an essay I wrote while living in Spokane, Washington. It's short, it's personal, and I had a lot of fun creating it (though maybe I shouldn't be using a microphone from 4ish years ago. Equipment upgrade is hopefully pending. Please bear with me until then!)

As always, thanks for listening.

Feel free to comment, or because most of you checking this out probably know me personally, feel free to text or call me to pour praise onto my ears. (It's only six minutes long, so maybe just a sprinkling of praise is due. I'm not picky.)

The next project is going to be a little longer, and more in the style of a short story. Let's just say that I hope it bring some...chills?

(By the way yes I have put a lot of planning into this and I have the next few projects already planned out. I am on a roll here people!)

Okay this blog post officially will take longer to read than it will to listen to Another Travelin' Song. Go, go, go!

I proudly present...

Those that know me will not be surprised by the following announcement:

I am a writer.

So why don't I blog more? You can hear someone shout from the back of the auditorium.

Because shut up, that's why.

Now that we have that settled, I do have a second announcement.

I love to voice act. Voice over. Read out loud? Voice emote? Emotivoice?

I don't know the best way to describe that.

You just like to hear yourself talk, that same asinine individual from the back shouts.

Seriously guy, just shut up.

So writing has been my passion since blah blah blah no one cares about origin stories, but I also secretly (not really that secret) love to read things out loud, as anyone who has shared a writing class with me knows, and I did a brief stint in acting that I adored but don't really have time for right now, and I've always loved doing the voice acting thing, and what I'm getting at is

I'm finally starting my own damn podcast series.

For now, just short stories, essays, that kind of thing, all written by me, all produced and voiced and edited by me, and will be in that pattern for the foreseeable future though I make no promises for projects so far in the future I don't even know what they are. I'm going to see how far this goes, first.

So with my not really great equipment and my untrained voice and my not really audience tested written material, I'm going to bring my voice and my stories out over the internet. Who's excited?!

I don't wanna hear a thing from you, back of the auditorium guy.

So this is my announcement of my big new project! I will have something put up (a very short something so you have NO EXCUSES to not check it out) within the next day or two as a sampling of what is to come (although based on the other things coming up it's really a bad sample). I don't know how often things will update since I have to do things like work and eat and shower and go to class and sleep and play video games, but since I'm pretty excited about this big project, I hope you all are too.

So, I am proud to present, Beep Beep Robot Story Time, brought to you by seriously-I-don't-have-any-free-time. Thanks (in advance) for listening!
